We are grateful for having received great reviews from professional published campsite guides, as well as from our campers and caravaners.
The Rough Guide to Camping
In 2011 we were recommended as an allround family campsite / caravan park.
" Old Cotmore Farm isn't the coolest or quirkiest campsite in this pretty corner of the South Hams - crammed with verdant meadows, rocky coves and pearly bays - but stands out as a faultless all-rounder. Enveloped by countrysdie and a short drive from the rugged coast, its green grass is beautifully manicured and the pink and blue themed ladies' and men's amentities say everything about the attention to detail. "
The AA
The AA rate us as a 3 pennant site. The triangles are awarded based on the sites facilities. There is also a percentage rating. We score very highly for a 3 pennant rated site.
" A small and peaceful, family run touring caravan and camp site well located in the South Hams region of Devon, close to Slapton and within easy reach of Salcombe and Dartmouth. Facilities are very clean and well maintained and there is a basic shop and small play area. Pebble and sandy beaches with cliff walks through woods and fields are within walking distance. Self-catering cottages are available. "
Cool Camping - England
" The campsite's run by people who enjoy the finer thinsg in life, and extra touches encourage a comfy stay: spotless facilities, prudent and colourful planting, flat pitches with sweeping views, and an exhaustive choice of walking maps. "

Your reviews
One of the most important campsite websites is www.ukcampsite.co.uk - Where we have received consistently good reviews.
We visited this small wonderful site last week. Our first visit to this site but not the area. Gwen is warm friendly and very welcoming. We both like walking and Gwen was able to advise us on good walks within the area.
The site is small, the facilities are very clean, we never had to queue to use the showers, the water is hot and free. Ladies there are plugs for hairdryers which are free to use. There is a fridge for ice blocks and if needed Gwen provide spare ones.
For children there is a play area, and an area to walk your dog. There is a shop on site that opens during July / Aug, that stocks essentials.
There are plenty of good pubs to eat in within easy driving. The village itself is about a mile away and has 2 good pubs. I heartily recommend this site, and will definitely go back
We spent a great two weeks at Old Cotmore Farm the pitch was flat and shaded with great views across the valley. Gwen and Matthew the owners made us very welcome.
I am struggling to find any fault with the site, plenty of free hot water, the facilities were spotless and BBQ's were provided for use. It is a small peaceful site with a good friendly atmosphere a great place to relax.
Lots of good clean beaches within easy reach and the towns of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe are delightful. One of the best holidays we've had, so much so that have booked again for next year and cant wait to return
